A proximity warning device, sometimes referred to as a pedestrian alert system, anti-collision system, or assistance system, is meant to alert your employees or vehicle operators about the presence of others when working in industrial settings or similar.

Pedestrian Detection – A ZoneSafe antennae fitted on a vehicle detects a pedestrian worker wearing a ZoneSafe tag within three to ten metres. The tag vibrates, alerting them to an approaching vehicle.

Vehicle Detection – Vehicles fitted with the ZoneSafe anti-collision unit detect each other within 50m, triggering warning alarms.

Active Signage – ZoneSafe sensors on vehicles and signage detect each other within 50m. The activated sign flashes to warn workers that a vehicle, such as a forklift truck, is approaching.

Vehicle Asset and Hazard Safety – ZoneSafe antennae create an invisible 360-degree detection zone around the vehicle and detect tags up to ten metres away, whether pedestrian, cone, or vehicle tags.

Data Management – Tracks vehicle movements and near collisions and generates a report to share trends you’ve identified, i.e. operational risks and collision hotspots.

In one safety project, you can use as many active tags as you want. Realistically, you would never exceed over 100 due to having that many around the vehicle.
